An HVI Hopper Car Lift creates a sealed pathway between the rail car discharge gate and the under track take away system. Operated by one manual air valve, the lift connector raises a flexible boot and seals the connection to the gate by compressing 2 1/2" thick foam seals against the outlet. The lower end of the boot is fastened securely to the take away system.

The HVI hopper car lifts adapt to the different single and double opening cars in service today.
