Turbine Vibrators
Characteristics: Quiet, long life, low air consumption
Description: A rotating unbalanced turbine wheel driven by compressed air produces centrifugal force. Frequency is higher than a ball vibrator. Noise level is less than a ball, roller, or impacting piston vibrator. Force output is radial. Frequency and force can be adjusted by varying the air pressure. Turbine wheel rotates on ball bearings.
Recommendation: Intermittent operation (2 to 4 hours/day) when considering energy usage and life.
Models:
- High Pressure, High Frequency Turbine Vibrators - develops high force outputs; sealed bearings; no lubrication required in air supply; clean air less critical than VT series with open bearing design.
GT-SS Series Turbine Vibrators
- Low Pressure, High Amplitude Turbine Vibrators - bearings lubricated by air supply; air supply must be filtered (to 40 microns) and lubricated.
